The studio works versatile across industries but always with the headline "Simplify and make sense" to create problem solving product solutions that are easy to understand and use.
I work as a consultant for various companies, some of which are listed below. In addition to my consultancy work, I engage in my own problem-solving projects. These projects vary in purpose: some are for fun, some for learning, some are licensed out to clients, and others lay the foundation for new problem-solving companies. I do this simply because I love what I do—I cannot help it. Simple as that.

At Studio Jesper K Thomsen, we focus on sustainable design by incorporating the following criteria into the design process of all new projects. Most importantly, we continue to strive for "design with justification"—products that solve problems and make sense. Simple as that.
Circular Product Design: Designs that consider recyclability, use minimal materials, incorporate sustainable materials, and have simple compositions.
Circular Production Methods: Thoughtfully designed products that can potentially be used for remanufacturing, where used products or components are disassembled, cleaned, inspected, refurbished, and reassembled to appear as new and updated products.
Business Models: We assist in integrating business models into the design process, considering whether products can be part of new contexts and have a "second life."
Partnerships and Value Chain: We aim to think through value chains, assist in selecting partners, and ensure that complexity is kept to a minimum to maintain transparency in the chains.
